Saint Katherine’s Philoptochos Society, Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Columbia South Carolina, is a chapter of the Greek Ladies Philoptochos Society headquartered in New York City, NYC. The Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society, Inc., is the duly accredited women’s philanthropic society of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.
The mission of the Philoptochos is to promote charitable, benevolent and philanthropic outreach to preserve the sanctity of life and family and to perpetuate and promote our Orthodox faith and traditions.
The St. Katherine’s Philoptochos Society is a wonderful dedicated group of women who are members of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church of Columbia, SC. We work throughout the year to help those in need on a local and national level. We do so by hosting luncheons, taking up collections, and sponsoring a bake sale/luncheon in the spring. We are very fortunate to be in a generous community that supports our endeavors. Please peruse through our website at stkatherinesphiloptochos.org to learn more about us.
